Comic-Con Looks to Make Dragon Ball History with Kamehameha World Record Attempt

Toei Animation Inc., Funimation, Bluefin, and Bandai are planning an impressive assortment of Dragon Ball Z programming for the convention, including a Guinness World Records attempt on opening day. Attendees are welcome to join in to create "the largest gathering of people simultaneously performing the iconic Kamehameha super energy attack move."

The record attempt will be held at the Marriott Marina Terrace at the Marriot Marquis San Diego hotel at 3:30 p.m on Wednesday, July 17. The first 1,000 participants will receive a free Dragon Ball Scouter accessory to wear during the Guinness World Records attempt. Gokuk voice actor Sean Schemmel will lead the crowd while a Guinness World Records appointee oversees and validates the attempt.
